Summary
Sutton Spencer has always imagined a fairly simple future for herself: finish graduate school and eventually fall in love. The problem is that graduation is less than a year away, and she still has no idea what direction she wants her life to take. It also does not help that talking to women leaves her feeling completely awkward and unsure of herself.
Charlotte Thompson could not be more different. She has always had a clear plan for success and has spent her life focused on achieving her goals. With a growing career in politics, she has little interest in romance or emotional distractions. Casual, private relationships have always suited her just fine, and she sees no reason to change that now.
When Sutton and Charlotte connect through a dating app, it quickly becomes obvious that they are far too different for anything serious. Friendship seems like the only possibility. At least, that is what they tell themselves.

Tasty Thoughts
I can't say enough good things about this book. I'm obsessed! Everything about this book is perfection! I'm obsessed with everything Charlotte and Sutton. I finished this book and immediately ran and got the next one "Forever and a Day". I loved this so much that I got it in ebook, print, and audiobook. This is one of my favorite reads of the year. I'm not sure where Haley Cass has been hiding all my life but her writing is superb and her storytelling is enthralling. I felt so many things reading this book. I literally laughed out loud, cried, sweat (bc the steam in this book is stellar), and swooned. This will be a go-to recommendation for anyone asking me what to read next. I'm just in love with this story. I wish I could read it for the first time all over again.
