When the book besties leave the group chat, magic happens. 🎉
Okay real talk — there is nothing quite like being in a room full of people who love the same books you do. The squealing. The cover recognition from across the room. The instant connection with a stranger who just held up a book you adore. Book besties are the best kind of besties — and when we actually make it out of the group chat and into the same room? We are absolutely living in the moment.
I am always on the hunt for sapphic and bookish events. This is where I keep track of what's coming up on my radar and look back fondly on the ones that made me feel like the whole room was built for us.

Want to go down memory lane? Come with me. 📸
Some of my favorite memories in this community have happened at events. The first time I walked into a signing with serious sapphic representation and genuinely could not believe the room I was standing in. The friends I've made. The authors I've met. The completely unhinged number of books I've carried home.
This is a love letter to the events that shaped Sterling Sapphic Reads — and honestly, shaped me as a reader and a community member.
