Welcome to Sterling Sapphic Reads

Your cozy, queer, bookish homebase where sapphic stories, merch, and community come together.

Hi, Babe! I’m so glad you’re here!

STERLING SAPPHIC READS is a soft, safe, joyful space created by Tacie to uplift sapphic stories, queer creators, indie bookstores, and the readers who love them. Whether you’re hunting for your next favorite romance, browsing bookish goodies, or looking for community, you’re home.

Sterling Sapphic Reads started as a place to talk about the books I love. But the more I showed up in this space, the more I saw what was missing: real, accessible support for the people making the books. Authors trying to figure out marketing alone. Creators building audiences without a roadmap. Professionals who wanted to work in this world but didn't know how to find the authors who needed them.

So I built the thing I wished existed.

This space grew from a simple desire: to see more sapphic stories celebrated loudly, lovingly, and unapologetically.

What started as a tiny corner of Bookstagram has grown into a thriving queer community filled with readers, authors, indie shops, and creatives who share a passion for sapphic joy.

Here, we believe that representation matters, indie authors deserve loud support, and reading should feel like home.

Curl up and explore. I promise your TBR is about to grow (in the best way). 💖

What’s Happening

From special edition book boxes to in-person events like Queers & Quills, here’s everything happening in the SSR community.

  • "Tacie has always been such a pleasure to work with. Not only is she sharp and clever with ideas, she’s fantastic with communication, and the video collabs we’ve done have always turned out incredible and are an awesome investment. I recommend her work to any sapphic author looking to market their books!"

  • "Whether we are needing reading recommendations or resources for connecting with Sapphic spaces, Tacie has always come through. Her commitment to advocacy throughout all of her content makes her an ideal collaborator. "

    - E’Shel, MM Bookbox Team Member

  • "When I first self-published I didn’t know anyone in the sapphic book community and I didn’t know if anyone would even read my duology, never mind like it. Then came Tacie, and when she took me under her wing it really felt like the most popular girl at school had invited me—the awkward new kid—to sit with her at lunch so she could introduce me to the gang. But not only did Tacie welcome me into the community with open arms, she actually read my books, and liked them. She liked them so much she shared them; she used her platform, her talent and her time to promote my work, a gift I will never forget or be able to truly repay. Now, two years later, I’m a full-time author with a trad deal through Penguin Random House, and I owe some of that success to Tacie, without whom I’d likely still be unknown."

  • "Going indie was scary for me after so many years in publishing, so having Tacie to guide me was wonderful. She gave me all the advice and tools I needed to make this launch successful. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her on my team!"
